Wörlitz is a small city, but green and people can relax drinking a coffee under an apple tree.

I made a tour inside the gothic house, it costs 7,5 euro. There are 15 rooms with very old furniture and a lot of paintings (a lot!). Even in the library, there was no place for books, because the walls were full of paintings.
Something very interesting about this house are the painted windows. These windows were broken during the transport. As a funny story: when these windows were fixed, in some cases the correct missing part was not found, so another part was put in place. That’s why you can see that in a praying circle for example, everybody looks like an angel, exception a blond man who looks like a lumberjack. True story.
Another interesting thing in this house: there are secret exits from some rooms outside in the garden and to the kitchen. I suppose the guy was fat, the wife asked him to lose weight, but he found a way to eat that delicious pie.
