The Harz mountains in the center of Germany are probably not tall, but for sure they are incredible beautiful. I followed the following path along the Bode river:
One highlight of the trip was Hexentanzplatz (a very nice place above the world, full of bad and ugly witches 🙂 ).
After 13 km and a lot of pictures I declared myself a very happy “hiker”. Please don’t make my mistakes: take some good trail shoes, running shoes are not recommended.
