One of the most beautiful places that I ever saw. The island is in the Gothenburg Archipelago and to get there you need a 90 minutes public transport ticket that costs 28 sek. Take tram number 11 from Central Station (tram 9 only during summer) to Saltholmen. After that you have to take boat number 283 for Brännö. The trip with the boat will take 30 minutes, but if it’s sunny stay outside and enjoy the water.
Outside the season, don’t expect to find a place where to sit and drink a coffee. Everything is closed, including the hotels. The only coffee that I could drink I found in the only shop on the island:

The island is small, I arrived on the island at around 11am and left at 14:26 (there is no departure at 13, be carefull to check for the program before starting your walk).
The island is a MUST SEE, especially if it’s sunny. I was lucky to have such a nice weather in late September.
