The Hartenfels castle in Torgau spectacular! It was rebuilt many times during the last hundred years. The interior looks new, nothing special, but you can visit one of the many exhibitions inside the castle. The one that I chose to see is “Stadtfest. Bibelfest. Trinkfest.”. It costs 5 euro and it helps you understand the history of the castle. It’s a modern exhibition, with light projections on the walls, no furniture or original things, just text and projections. But it was interesting and I recommend it.

The Chapel in the castle can be seen during the exhibition visit – totally worth it. It’s the first chapel that Luther personally opened.
The city center of Torgau is wonderful:
In the sommer time you can see bears at the castle. They were now in the winter sleep, so I couldn’t see them unfortunately.
The tower if the castle is open during the entire year. You must have a 1 euro coin to visit it.
