Today I arrived in Cardiff. I was so happy to find that UK didn’t disappoint me – it was rainy and cloudy the whole day. Yes!!!
The right way to get to Cardiff City Center is to take a bus from the Airport. The wrong way is to pay in advance for a train ticket (just 5 euros, so not that bad) from Rhoose Airport Train Station that comes every 2 hours (!!!) and you have to walk around 5 km to get there. Imagine if you are lucky enough and it rains, than you can say that you just had your first adventure in UK. Now … can you guess how I got to the Cardiff City Center?
Anyway, I tend to be positive also when I take bad decisions. So I am in Cardiff and I am not mad. At all. It’s a wonderful city, typical UK city, with a lot of stone walls, buildings and bridges.
There’s a castle in the city center, very touristy, the ticket costs 13 Pounds. I am not yet sure if I will visit it, I will probably decide tomorrow. I find it a bit pricey.
There are seagulls everywhere and they are really lousy.
“Sir … excuse me, Sir … I think you have something on your head. ”
