Zürich

Today we arrived in Zürich. The flight from Berlin was 65 euro per person for both ways. We took the flight at 8:30 with Easyjet and at 10:00 we were landing in Zürich. From the airport to the city center we took a train for 6,80 Fr. There are many different trains that come every 5 minutes and the trip was very short, about 10 minutes. The city is really beautiful. Switzerland itself is a shock from prices perspective, everything is very expensive.

Tomorrow we will go to Lucerne, a city one hour away by train. The train ticket both ways was 19 euro per person. Hopefully the weather will be as beautiful as it was today.

Update later:

After the one day trip to Lucerne we had two more days to enjoy Zürich. Unfortunately the weather was bad, it rained most of the time.

The Zwingli statues can be found at the Großmünster:

The Frauenkirche costs 6 Fr to visit the interior, but the outside offers interesting images:

The Großmünster is free to visit, but the tower costs 5 Fr. And if you are claustrophobic, I don’t recommend it.

The walk on the Promenade at the river is a must:

The Enge church close to the Fifa World Football museum:

I personally like Switzerland a lot and for sure will come back soon. Very soon.
