Oslo – first steps

How to get from Oslo Airport to the Central Station:

I landed late (around 21:45), so I preferred to take the easiest public transportation to the Central Station, but nit the cheapest. A ticket for Flytoget costs 180 nok (around 20 euros), but the trip is short and comfortable. And you can use the wifi. The wifi is not spectacular ad in Sweden, but better than nothing.

Once I arrived at the Central Station, the only thought that I had in my mind was “Find a sim card with data now”. It was not possible, and I really tried.

So this morning I went to the MyCall shop in Oslo. They open at 10, and unfortunately they are the only ones that give prepaid sim cards to foreigners that have no norwegian ID number. And without registration at their shop, the card is not working anyway.

I paid 104 nok for a sim card with 25 national minutes and 2 G data. In Oslo I notice 4G speed, I am curious how it will behave in the country side, in the fjords.

Below a photo with the Central Station. Am I on the Enterprise ship?
