Every journey in life is a challenge, if everything is perfect, there are for sure hidden problems, that we cannot see yet.
Being in Norway with an Interrail ticket while Norway trains are on strike with an open end is for sure a challenge. Big one actually.
Right now I am in the bus from Oslo to Bergen. The train at 08:25 that I should have taken was cancelled, due to the strike. The ticket costed me 80 euros and it’s with connection, so basically instead of arriving in Bergen in 6:30 hours, I will need with the bus 10:30. Not cool.
And this is the best case. In two days I have to be in Trondheim and after another two days in Bodo; those connections will for sure provoke me a lot of troubles and a lot of money spent on buses. I must stay focused and keep my good mood.
I will have to contact Interrail and explain about the problems that I have in Norway. I already paid for the ticket and flexibility. Being an Interrail fan, it’s really pity that I cannot enjoy the trains, but here I am and hope to solve it somehow. I will update this post later when I have their response.
