Ludwigslust

There are a lot of people today in Ludwigslust it seems, the parking lots are hard to find.
Finally I could find a free parking 1,1 km away from the castle (Parking in the city is for free for 4 hours). But the weather is ok, so I am happy to walk and maybe I catch one interesting Pokemon.

The castle is open from 10 to 18. A normal ticket costs 6,50 euro. I prefered to take the 7 auf einen Streich ticket, which costs 22 euro and can be used for the following castles during an year:

  • Schwerin – 8,5 euro – 14.08.2016
  • Ludwigslust  – 6,5 euro – 13.08.2016
  • Guestrow – 6,5 euro – 05.08.2017
  • Mirow – 6 euro – 06.08.2017
  • Bothmer – 6 euro
  • Granitz – 6 euro
  • Galerie Alte&Neue Meister Schwerin – 8,5 euro – 05.08.2017
  • Hohenzieritz (since June 2017) – 3 euro – 06.08.2017 (I don’t recommend visiting this castle, even if it’s for free)

(If you decide to visit all castles included in the ticket, instead of paying 51 euro you pay just 22 euro).
