Burano (Venice)

I took the boat from Piazzale Roma to Burano at 07:50. The trip was about 50 minutes, with a change in Murano. Leaving earlier in the morning on a Tuesday morning was a good decision, because in Murano there were just a few people willing to go to Burano. Compared with Sunday mid day, where hundreds of people were waiting in Murano in a very long queue, this was definitely better. Burano was at that time also not crowded. Perfect for beautiful...

Milano

At Palazzo Reale there is an exhibition of Leandro Erlich until 4th of October. Entrance for 3 minutes is 17 euro. But the pictures you get are hilarious 😁 Sicilian sweets:

Lake Como

Mandello del Lario We had a daily ticket for the boats (touristic and ferry) all over Lake Como (about 20 euro per person). It was extremely hot and Pumba was really suffering, so we decided to just see Bellagio and Varenna. These towns were so crowded, that at some point I was afraid that we will not manage to onboard the boat that would bring us back "home". The queue was extremely long. When we will come back, we will go to Lecco, which was...

Sirmione

The accommodation that I decided for in Sirmione is deep in the city center, where cars are not allowed. This was a bit unlucky when I found out, because we have a lot of small bags (6?) and two luggages and walking for about 800 meters from our parking place in incredibly crowded and tight streets can be a real challenge. We took the transportation that the parking company offers and it was very comfortable.

Trento

Buonconsiglio Castle Museum With the Trentino Card (given by the accommodation) the entrance was 7 euro (instead of 10 euro). The tour to the tower was additional 2.5 euro Tridentum - archeological site For free with the Trentino Card. To Sardagna with the funivia - also free with the Trentino Card (like all public transportation)

Lago di Braies (Pragser Wildsee)

From Brixen we did a short trip by car to Lago di Braies. This place is incredibly beautiful and is part of the UNESCO heritage. To see the lake itself is for free, but the parking costs (P3 - closest to the lake - was at the beginning of June 7 euro). We did the hike around the lake in the clockwise direction, about 4 km. At the beginning it was a bit harder, but the second part was flat. We arrived at the lake at about 9:45 on a Saturday and...

Brixen

Yesterday we arrived in Brixen. We drove from München first to Innsbruck where we made a break and continued to Brixen. Some photos from Innsbruck: Brixen is very beautiful, deep in the Dolomites: Today we went on the Plose. This place is especially crowded in the winter for the ski season. Thanks to the Brixen Card we received from the hotel, we could drive for free with bus 321 to the gondola and even take for free the gondola up the...
